Racetrack Playa



Racetrack Playa is a place located in Death Valley National Park, California. This place is actually a dry lake. Playa itself is plain that always muddy and watery during the rainy season.

It could also mean basin that formed the beach of sand and sometimes form a shallow lake due to heavy rain. Mystery that surrounds this place is the "Stone of skating." Batu2 amid the "playa" is able to move from one place to another without the aid of human hands. They skated a bit by bit from one point to another.

The legend says that this stone can be seen skating once every 3 years. Many theories that explain why batu2 it can move. Among them is the theory of the strong winds that blew up speed of 90 MPH and mud at Playa is very slippery. But until now it remains a mystery.
